| Comments: |
Went up for sunrise. The trail is mostly a stream at the moment with intermittent unavoidable mud. Towards treeline black ice was present on rocks and roots and there was a few avoidable patches of winter ice and snow. There was rime ice above treeline along with black ice. Theme of the day was slippery rocks. Wore trail runners and did not put on my spikes, I don’t think they would’ve helped. |
