|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is a large blowdown right in the middle of Liberty Spring Trail. A few others here and there, mostly duck unders. Goes without saying that Liberty Spring Trail could use some help in the drainage department. Also of note: some dirtbag appears to have broken the lockbox at the Tentsite and taken whatever money may have been in there. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Jackson went on an adventure with KatieB today. He would have done fine. |
|
| Bugs: |
None |
|
| Lost and Found: |
There’s an REI coat hanging on a tree on Liberty Spring Trail. I packed out some other junk today so that stayed on its hanger. |

| Comments: |
Fun day with a big crew helping Mr Chase Hall close in on that 576 finish line. Ice started around 2500 feet. Spikes were fine to the summit of Liberty. The snow was getting a little soft in the col between the two peaks. We stayed in spikes, snowshoes wouldn’t have changed much, it’s April. Still a good 3+ feet of snowpack up there. Snowshoes got a free ride, I’d carry them if I went back up tomorrow. Conditions were pretty good for April. |
