The forecast was not even close....sunny most of the day, no wind, beautiful. Just started raining when I got back to my car. Passed Lidya and Demi and mom who was carrying Demi and all their over-night gear for a hut stay. Mom was in great shape and I was in awe. They came up Imp and were headed to Carter Dome then down. Smiles all around. But then on my road walk back to the car from Camp Dodge, a black BMW flew by me in the wrong lane, going well over 100 mph. I called 911 because the guy was obviously wasted. I passed his totaled wreck a short time later. I doubt he survived and to be honest, I'm hoping he didn't. Luckily he didn't kill anyone else. |
