The crossing at the beginning was rock hoppable,with an inch or so of water running across my boots |

Nice day out for us and we beat the rain that rolled in about 130pm. The open ledges were mostly dry. The large granite slabs were a mix and i was hugging the edges quite a bit [please don't trample the vegetation]. The slabs were wet from an earlier rain, not snow. Snow is largely gone on this route. The dogs did manage to find a few snowy patches to play in. Ice is also almost gone. There are a few patches in the woods after you descend Dickey’s summit. They’re on rather flat ground so i walked over them but you could easily walk around them. |
