Very nice first spring hike, with OTHH. We took our time up top, as there was full sun, no wind except up on the tower. We decided to skip the Cabin Trail for descent, and just went down the way we came up. On our descent, we encountered an AOA group ascending, as well as a few others. I saw only one little muddy spot on the way down, of no consequence. The trail was dry, with no snow except for a pair of remaining patches off trail near the cabin. There were a great many fall leaf collections not yet pummeled to extinction by foot traffic. |
