Trails are in better than expected condition, and there is no snow or ice to speak of except for the one shady section / trough below the summit where small patches of ice remain. This isn't at all problematic, however in the shade the ice can look like the other multitude of small rocks. But, all in all a dry clean and fun hike up to the summit of Monadnock today. Lots of people hiking and low winds allowed us to hang out on the summit for a while. |
