Comments
Comments: sawyer river road was clear and dry except for a few short sections of thin snow/ice, and bare-booted. snowshoes from the trailhead to the first river crossing (winter route) as it was slushy, afterwards there was a brief section with bare rocks we did bare boots, then from 2600 feet up to the peak we used spikes on packed and somewhat solid trail but careful with monorail. on the way down, we were on snowshoes from the peak back to the trailhead experiencing many things: running water, collapsed monorails, mashed potatoes, drainage streams, and collapsed snow bridges.
