Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My dog did fine and she is generally good with ledges, but this is definitely one where leashing was the only option for us in a few places. No issues, just be prepared to leash at a moment's notice.
Bugs
Bugs: There was one 10' spot where some were ominously congregating, but otherwise still bug free.

Comments
Comments: What a beautiful hike! I can see why there are all the warnings to avoid in wet conditions. There is so much pitched slab which would be very difficult when wet or icy. Today the ledges were dry and I only checked off "wet trail" because of some very small areas of mud down below the slabs. It's supposed to rain tonight so that's probably meaningless by tomorrow. We saw one tiny patch of remaining snow, but this is a blissfully bareboot hike right now.
