Comments
Comments: Went up Holt trail over to Firescrew, and down Manning. Quite a lot of verglas ice from the refreeze last night, including in the crux portions and throughout the slab on the Holt trail, most of it was avoidable with careful steps and route finding. There are some areas with ice where a fall would have high consequence, and turning back would be difficult at best. I suspect most of the ice will be gone by the end of the day, as a lot of it is in direct sun. The top over to Firescrew was dry with some patches of snow and ice that were still frozen and supportive enough to not posthole, and manning was in pretty good shape with some patches of snow and ice up high and mostly dry down low.
