Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked on Canal Ave across from Cohas Pump Station. There is parking for maybe 10 cars. We went a few times to do the video and never had a problem parking.

Trail Maintenance Notes: We hiked mostly Fire Road and only ran across one downed tree. It was a big tree, but we were able to climb over it.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dog on leash only and people are allowed on the property Neither are allowed in the water at all. Swimming and wading are against the Rules and it is strictly enforced.

Comments: Rattle Snake Hill and Cave via Manchester Water Works

We wanted to hike out to Rattlesnake Hill Cave. We started out at the Mancester Water Works on Canal Ave and traced how the water get from Lake Massabesic to the homes it serves as their drinking water. We were on Fire Roads most of the time with a short bushwhack to the cave. Skies were threating rain all day, but thankfully did hold off. Except for the downed tree we mentioned above, the hike was mostly flat until the bushwhack to Rattlesnake Hill and the Cave.
