| Comments: |
Started at 4:15am to try to get to the ridge for sunrise. We didn't make it, but the early start was worth it regardless. Barebooted up to about 3000 feet and then put on microspikes which were on until we were back at that spot on the return trip. No need for snowshoes, but the snow between Liberty and Flume was starting to soften on our way back. The monorail is started to form and is solid. Clear skies and little wind made for a beautiful day! |
