| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
They really need to reroute the start of this trail. The trailhead marker is gone and there is now a large pile of old asphalt in its place making the trail very hard to find. Plus they expanded the pit so that a portion of the first hundred yards or so doesn’t really exist. You have to pick your way through slash, dirt, and sand.
On another note, there’s one duck under somewhat early on (but beyond the snowmobile trails) that’s precariously held up by a very small limb. If the small limb fails, a sizable piece of tree could fall directly on someone’s head. We tried to dislodge it, but it was difficult while trying to also keep our dog from following her hound nose into a hole. |

Apparently this one smelled really good according to our pup. |

| Comments: |
Probably 90% of this trail is actually dry. There were patches of snow in a couple of spots and two spots with an ice, but it’s entirely possible to avoid all of it with judiciously chosen steps. Ledge Trail, given its southwest exposure, was bone dry.
Did the loop. Great day for it. Ledge Trail was particularly nice today. Pics coming to Instagram soon @quantum.moxie |
