| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
This is why I'm posting this - the GES Nature Trail is currently a fiesta of massive blowdowns - those are going to take some work to remove. Interspersed among the blowdowns are large mudpits as well. Signs are all there. |

I added this to my itinerary for the day since I had a little bit of extra time and didn't want to gain any elevation. I wouldn't have posted this hike here except that the trail turned out to have a lot of big blowdowns, and I wanted to make sure that those who maintain this trail were aware of this. The blowdowns obscure the trail in places.
As a side note, I enjoyed the cute story on the signposts along the trail. |
