Great little vantage point on Crawford-Ridgepole peaks, the Sandwich Wilderness, the Tri’s and Chocoriua despite today’s clouds. Thank you OlderThan Dirt for the idea on this. Surprisingly minimal mud. The tricky initial steeps up Eagle Cliff have some slippery parts but with careful handholds they’re doable and oh those views. Rest of trail is super easy and gentle to Red Hill despite pointless ups & downs to get there. Enjoyed fire tower viewpoints.
Despite what the WMG said Teedie delivered lovely peeks at Squam Lake thru the trees on the way home, and the road walk was fast. |
