Our plans to hike a couple 4K peaks got busted by thunderstorms at the start of our day. We decided to wait out the rain at a Dunkin and the. Drove over to Waterville to check in our trail. Most of the trail is free of snow and ice. A little bit of it in the final steep spots to the falls. We used our rock spikes to get back down from that part. Carried in some small seats and snacks and had a picnic lunch. The cascades are lovely right now thanks to snow melt and rain. Trail is open for the season ;) |
