Brackett Brook was running low at the crossing. Several smaller crossing were easy too. |

I was worried about the Brackett Brook crossing at 1.6 miles, but no need. The brook was running low for this time of year.
No views at the top (cloudy), but the snow started around 2700 feet of elevation. It was fun trudging through the remaining snow and ice up there. There were also wildflowers to admire on the way up. I saw red trillium and yellow violets in bloom. The trout lily looks like it will be blooming soon. |
