Comments: Spring hiking is here, what a joy…
Bare, wet, sloppy trail with patches of intermittent snow to start. Barebooted til about 2500ft where the trail gets steep going into that ravine type area. Spikes came out here. Snow and ice got a little sketchy and somewhat unstable with water running beneath. Above 3000ft everything was relatively solid. Exposed areas had stretches of bare ground. In between the peaks was getting a little soft. Nice hike overall but conditions will continue to deteriorate until the snow is gone.
