Shay did great, plenty of small streams to keep him hydrated. |

Black flies are out, my head net did the trick and I used deet as well. |

Trail is well cared for. Blazed and signed very well, clear of debris and impressive in its overall quality.
Had a great hike, first time on the Wapack, ( although we have climbed pack for years). Did the 9 mile section from Watatic to Ipswich NH, cool trail and very nice variety of trail. Trillium are popping. Will do section 2 soon. |
