I gridded out the hancocks today. There were some pretty terrible conditions. The trails were a mix of unstable monorail, and running water. You could posthole at any moment, even in the middle of the trail [which is why light snowshoes are useful this time of year]. Id stay away from this one unless youre gridding. There was some cool undercast weather at the north peak. |
