| Comments: |
Snow free until Caps Ridge, which was a mix of bare ground and decent sized patches of snow, most of it still stable. On the exposed ridge snow is gone for the most part to summit. Gulfside trail had large stretches of soft snow, some post holing; the rest bare ground. Clay had a few snowy patches but was avoidable. The Cog had some really soft patches of snow in steep spots which made traction impossible. There are some sections it’s best to butt slide. Lower 1/3 is snow free. |
