| | Date of Hike: | Friday, May 3, 2024 | | | | | Parking/Access Road Notes: | | | | | | Surface Conditions: | Dry Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) | | | | | Recommended Equipment: | Light Traction | | | | | Water Crossing Notes: | We used hiking waders for all 3 crossings. I've done this hike many times but I usually don't need waders for the first two crossings. The water wasn't particularly high but I think some of the rocks used for rock hopping have been rolled downstream. | | | | | Trail Maintenance Notes: | | | | | | Dog-Related Notes: | | | | | | Bugs: | | | | | | Lost and Found: | | | |

| | | | Comments: | Mostly snow free until the upper 2/3rds of Brutus. There is still 1 to 2' of snow along the ridge but the trail is too rough for snowshoes to be of any use. There is a well pack path as long as you don't step off it.
