Wapack trail is in great condition along the Pack's. I was hiking at moderate to fast pace averaging 3 mph. There was quite few people out on the trails. Park employees were ramping up for the season checking trails and the gift shop on South was open. It was overcast most of the day still had some great views. I almost ate it big time trail running down Marion Davis. Gotta love them roots (haha). Cliff Trail was fun forgot how stinking steep it is. It could use some fresh paint on the blazes. There looked to be a missing sign coming of the cliff view point going to North Pack Summit. Heard a lot of birds tweeting and cawing. No other animals to be seen. It was a great day to be out! |
