Comments: Had a great 2 day hike. Headed up Webster-Jackson at 10am on May 3. Put spikes on around Bugle Cliff and took them off at the scramble just below Jackson summit. Webster Cliff had a defined monorail but was post hole central as temps warmed and spikes were on until we got to Mizpah. Mizpah hut had opened up for the season earlier that day and we had a cup of cocoa to warm up (thanks Cooper!). Decided to call it a little early that day and camped at Naumann tentsite. Up early the next morning to summit Pierce and Eisenhower. Trip up to Pierce was slippery. Eisenhower ridgeline was totally dry and free of snow. Cloudy conditions that morning so the views weren't great. Took Crawford Path all the way back to the car.
Spikes and trekking poles were a must on this trip.
