It running high and fast. Rock hopping isn’t really an option. Don’t worry about staying dry here because you’re going to get wet ahead anyways. |

Bunnell notch is very wet and muddy culminating in a flooded section near the intersection with Kilkenny ridge. You can either wade ankle deep through the water or step on the unstable monorail [or wear snowshoes!]. There’s pieces of monorail here and there but it gets consistent after bunnell rock viewpoint. I didn’t have any issues hiking from the hut to the summit. |
