| Comments: |
A beautiful, sunny, warm day to be out hiking. Enjoyed a stop at the cairn rock chair area. Also discovered a patch of Red Pixie Cup lichen not far from Holt Mtn's tiny summit.
While the slopes of the old Temple Mtn ski area are now largely overgrown with trees, obscuring most outlooks, it's great place to go hiking without the crowds found at Monadnock and sometimes Pack Monadnock (Miller SP, across the street, Rt101). |
