Fun day with Coach Stacy getting back on a slide for the first time this spring. Flume slide is very wet, as expected, wouldn’t recommend unless you are comfortable with your skillset/footwork. We carried spikes but never used them…no bumtouches but a few close calls. Conditions much better than expected, especially between Liberty and Little Haystack, definitely helped that it was cold overnight. Met some very nice, but very overmatched people out on the ridge. ‘Tis the season. Dime of a day out there. |
