Trail mostly ice/snow free. The summit was completely snow and ice free where the sun has had full access. The last 1/8 mile before reaching the ridge was covered with snow with a narrow monorail. My partner installed her micro spikes for the 1/8 mile prior to the ridge and we both applied them the way down this stretch. The .9 mile ridge was covered with snow with a narrow monorail, which we bare booted with ways. Poles came in very handy. Microspikes were needed for the 1/8 mile stretch prior to the ridge. |
