Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: From Fundy to Split Rock, I cleaned up some odds and ends along Woronoco. The large blowdown at the junction of Woronoco and Split Rock is still there and will be attended to. I removed all the small blowdowns along Split Rock; four areas of large blowdowns will be handled by the chainsaw folks. I continued clearing blowdowns along Shaw until I ran out of time. Work on the rest will continue another day. Fundy has a slight flooding issue due to beavers by the bridge at the Fundy/Shaw junction. Shallow and easy to walk through for now.

Bugs: The black flies were atrocious. A head net is essential.

Comments
Comments: Mostly dry conditions on this long loop. Shaw Trail is way out there when coming from the Pawtuckaway State Park visitor center! The only significant mud is along the lower section of Shaw Trail.

Saw a grand total of three other people all day.
