Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw three very well behaved Dogs having a blast. I like dogs off-lease, they seem more happy and better behaved.
Bugs
Bugs: Clueless black flies in parking lot. Buzzed around and landed on everything but no bites. Picardin bug repellent and Insect Shield pants and shirt.

Comments
Comments: It was 66 degrees at noon when I arrived. Summer conditions with no wind down low and very little on the summits. So it was pretty hot. The trails are completely dry, no snow or ice visible anywhere. Even the streams seemed pretty run out. Only 3-4 muddy sections easily avoided. Whomever maintains this trail has built some beautiful stone steps on the lower parts of both sides of the loop -- Nice job.
