Skies opened up on us ~1mi from the summit, and with the ice on the trail and only sneakers we decided to turn around. Up to that point, clear trail with no ice. In better weather, possibly doable barebooting, but spikes recommended. Overall, lovely trail, lots of rocks and roots (bit of a stream on the way down with the rain). |
