Comments
Comments: I made the mistake of going up Valley Way today - DON’T do it. Take Airline. Airline was just about snow free! Valley Way had a 3 foot high sloping monorail from hell for the last mile. Once up on Gulfside I ran into some patches of snow that were undermined, these require special care as you’re cruising along the otherwise great trail. I only postholed maybe 6 times all day but each time it was deep and hollow underneath. Only passed one person all day, but saw a couple others from afar. The views were most spectacular today in between clouds, all 3 summits cleared for me right as I reached them.
