Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked at the old fire warden's cabin site off Tower Rd. Tower Rd. is currently fine for any vehicle with care. Just be aware you can't do 80 on it.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All of the small blowdowns have been removed. One large tree remains that will need a chainsaw. Between the true summit and the end of the trail there's a large leaner, but it's high and firmly wedged and isn't moving for a while. Plenty of room to walk under. I also brushed in a couple unnecessary herd paths.

Comments
Comments: Middle Mtn. Trail is ready for business aside from the chainsaw blowdown mentioned above. I enjoy this trail, especially the grassy ridge walk.

Conditions in the morning were dry but the rain began around 1 pm and steadily increased. Fortunately, I had finished up everything I needed to do by then.
