Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossing at Pine Brook at about .86 mile from Kanc is a bit challenging if you don't have long legs! There is due to an unstable rock slimy rock and and another tilted downward on return makes it a bit tricky for shorter legs. Easier to just step on submerged rock as long as it is warm out and wring out socks.

Comments
Comments: Nice trillium along first mile of trail. If you do get wet feet after crossing Pine Brook, just wring out socks rather than put on dry socks. If your boot is wet inside, you'll just get the dry socks wet unless you have a plastic bad to put your foot in first. East Pond is very pretty, and nice trail for a wooded one.
