Wet, foggy day. The worst, wettest section was the Airline cutoff which had lots of low lying fir trees which were dripping wet. I had to stop and put on my rain jacket. This short trail also was mostly snow covered but no problems or post-holing. Lots of folks out today but no views anywhere, and the Hut isn't opened either. Normally I'd tag Adams too but was discouraged by the wet conditions which made the descent much slower. Lastly, I appreciate the report from a couple of days ago that indicated Airline was snow-free and Valley Way was a mess. Thanks Carl. |
