Two major blowdowns on the high ridge trail. One each just west and east of the Oak Ridge Cutoff and High Ridge trail junction. I managed to clear part of the east one with a hand saw to clear part of the trail, but a bigger saw will be needed for the rest. |

| Comments: |
I saw a bear on the High Ridge trail just southeast of Faraway mountain. It knew I was coming and made a semi circle around me, then went back to lumbering down the trail once it had past.
The trails themselves were great. Wide and well maintained, besides the two blowdowns noted above. Some mud in places and some water streaming down on Oak Ridge Cutoff trail, but it rained yesterday so that wasn't overly surprising. But nothing that couldn't be dodged around with some care. |
