Comments
Comments: All summits socked in the clouds today. Flume Slide has no snow or ice but is very wet & slippery. Was in the woods more than ever to avoid the worst. Not much better in there. Coming down off Flume solid icy trail. Worst trail conditions were here on the decent. Could've/should've put spikes on but didn't want the on/off. Some ice coming down Liberty to junction. Same over to Little Haystack with several blowdowns. Crowds started on Haystack until after the hut. No snow/ice on ridge but wet rocks. Some ice before hut but not bad. Flooded area has rocks to step on. Really busy at hut, open for the season. 1st time going down Greenleaf to the Tram lot. A lot quieter this way. Again, same conditions as other trails. No trail sign on the exit ramp, never knew where it started before. Sign in lot pointing you in the right direction. Trail is not visible from ramp.
