Comments
Comments: Fun solo hike out to Mt Isolation to finish The Grid. The Rocky Branch Tr is in pretty poor condition and wet, as usual. I bushwacked to the Iso Express Crossing by following the 3100' contour which runs at a lower elevation to the Engine Hill Route. Then Iso Express to the peak and back. Then I took the Rocky Branch cutoff, which starts considerably south. There's some snow in the draw at the end of the Iso Express Bushwhack but it's easily avoided. There's also some supportive monorail from 3800' to 3900' on the David Path, but that's it. The summit spur is dry.
