Gale River Road is open. Haystack Road is not. Only a few cars in the Gale River Trail lot. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water levels are low. Easily rock hopped. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Several blowdowns easily stepped over. One large Maple top blocking Gale River Trail about 1.5 miles from the trailhead. |

My little JRT did fine today. |

Lots at the trailhead. None up high. |

| Comments: |
Bare booted everything today. Spikes stayed in the pack. Limited ice and monorail starts at around 3800' easily avoided. More consistent and wide monorail and snow in the woods between South and North Twin. It was mostly supportive and easy to walk on or avoid. |
