We hiked Jackson first via the Webster Jackson trail, then took the Webster Cliff trail over to Webster, and looped back to the first split. This was a great path as it got the harder peak out of the way first, and the last bit before rejoining the original trail had a gorgeous waterfall. Monorail deteriorating caused a lot of postholing and slowed progress on the upper part of the trail, although the summit was clear. I recommend poles and microspikes as the snow continues to melt. |
