Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: From Bell to Round Pond, 2 small easy ones near Round Pond. None on the Klem-Mack from Round Pond to Mack. 6 or 7 small, easy ones from Mack to Anna. One easy crossing just down from Anna. 1 wide easy crossing near Old Stage Road. 1 always-challenging crossing at the Red/Blue junction south of Old Stage Road. None the rest of the way back to Hidden Valley.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 1 large, nicely delimbed 18"-ish stepover on the Mack-Anna not far from the 3-town boundary rock. South of Old Stage needs spring cleaning all the way back to camp, all easily taken care of with hand tools other than 1 large stepover and 1 large climbover both near Sunset Lake. All three are probably do-able with a big hand saw, and are on Scout land, so chainsawing would need their permission. I will check in with their Forester and their Ranger.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: None
Bugs
Bugs: I wore a headnet, long sleeves, and long pants. Bugs didn't seem too bad though.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: NA

Comments
