| Comments: |
It was a great day for the Bonds. Zealand to Lincoln Woods (car spotted at LW) Surprising amount of snow from Zeacliff Outlook to Mt Bond, including West Bond spur. Snow was in the wooded areas, clear in open areas. By walking carefully it was possible to stay on the firm monorail for the most part but couldn't help post holing in many places where the snow was degrading or the monorail collapsed. Although carried spikes decided to trudge through it but glad I had waterproof boots. Felt like a death march |
