| Comments: |
Dry trail with the occasional mud patches in the usual spots down low. Climbing out of the ravine, trail was mostly dry with some badly eroded areas up to the Scaur / PB junction. Small patches of snow and ice (mostly ice) in the shaded areas starting after the Scaur / Pine Bend junction, with larger patches on the boulder steeps just below the North summit, wet ledges/rocks. Many walkarounds on the sides of the trail through here. Some small patches snow /ice between the peaks. Things were melting fast though with the warm temps, so what snow / ice is there probably won't last much longer. Carried spikes, but didn't use them. Careful stepping and foot placement sufficient. |
