Comments
Comments: Generally uneventful. Mostly dry and easy since most of the trail is a former road to the former fire watch tower. Some snow/ice appeared within the last 0.5 miles from the summit but easy to walk on the side of it or use exposed rocks coming through now to avoid ice. A little more challenging in the final climb to/down from the summit but with some scrambling and crab walking on the way down, I was able to avoid the need for spikes/poles at all. I would bring them just in case for that final 0.2 up/down Garfield Ridge. Overall a lovely walk in the woods for 99% of it and then spectacular views from the summit.
