No bugs for me car to car. Gnats started to swarm the heads of some uphillers as I was descending. |

I opted for the 6:30 start to beat the heat and the bug sorties. The plan worked for me and the trail is dry. Cool temps, welcomed overcast,snowless,bug less, pleasant hike this morning. There was one solo ahead of me and many uphillers as I came down. Great to see Paul on the trail again. |
