Comments
Comments: Absolutely fabulous day! We came across very few patches of mud and the stream crossings were a breeze. We drove up from Rhode island and the lot was full by 9 when we arrived but there was plenty of space to park along the road close to the trailhead. The trail is a little wet in places but nothing bad. Only a couple of remaining patches of ice in the last few hundred feet, almost not worth mentioning and 100% avoidable. Highly trafficked trail with plenty of friendly folks. Perfect hike to kick off the season!
