| Comments: |
Great day on the trail - the terrain is a terrific variety and mild (if cloudy) weather. Only a few avoidable mud sections, and one 25-50 ft section of trail with a few remaining chunks of ice that were easy to step around. Most water crossings have bridges, and the one that didn't was large rocks, I wouldn't even call it rock hopping it was so straightforward. Plenty of dogs were met on the trail, and we had a friend's dog with us and he did great w/ the trail. Only one section he didn't want to jump down from. Very few bugs yesterday from 7:30AM-5:00PM, we lucked out. |
