Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I was able to drive to the west log yard spur at elevation ~3000 of the diamond ridge scenic vista, some maps call this "Water Fall Brook" in a low clearance AWD mini cooper. Care was needed but doable. Got a thumbs up, some honks and some waves from a trio of Jeeps having a blast out there. Don't think they expected to see a mini that far out, haha.

Comments
Comments: Round two on the day, because it was on the way out. My trek follows a similar report, we utilized a skidder road from the height of land for entry, its initially pencil and pokey but opens up. There is a swamp/bog about halfway between the peak and the log landing which was the dividing line of growth, it got far easier after the bog and very open. No issues finding the recognized summit. This was only 0.75 from car to summit, a quickie! We where going to head to Magalloway but we where running out of time - and patience. Any mid + clearance vehicle will sail through. A low clearance can get there, but it takes some effort. I did not bottom out, which was a miracle in a few spots.
