Parking/Access Road Notes: There is a large divot at the edge of the pavement on Gorham side of the driveway. Swing wide if coming from the west. Plenty of room today, no fee.

Water Crossing Notes: Two large crossings of Rattle River were rock hoppable

Trail Maintenance Notes: Three significant blow downs on Rattle River. One half way to the shelter, a large one with the crown in the trail well above the second crossing,

Dog-Related Notes: great hike for Fido.

Bugs: Some black flies swarming and biting. A few mosquitoes.
