Comments
Comments: Just 19 days ago, a hiker reported snow that was so unstable and deep as to be troublesome - lots of postholing, and maybe needing snowshoes. Today, I can certify Stony Brook Trail as 100% snow free; there was only one tiny patch of snow on the Carter-Moriah trail from there to Moriah... and it was quite firm. And welcome! without that snowpatch, it would have been a muddy mess of a puddle. (The snow will be gone in a few days.)
