Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Got to Zealand trailhead around 6:30 or so. There were spots open in the overflow lot right before the summer lot (which is currently closed for construction). No payment taken at this time. There were cars parked about .2 miles down from the “main lot”, probably overflow from the day before.

Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Vince had a blast! No problem going up the ladder towards Zealand, and I used his backpack to help him come down while I sat on the ladder. Lots of water from the parking lot up to Zeacliff. Then, the trail is basically dry until reaching the Guyot shelter. Pack water accordingly.
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies are back. We were basically swarmed on the summits of Bond and West Bond from there being minimal wind.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a large can of bug spray leaning against the sign for Zealand pond. No complaints here.

Comments
Comments: Great day for the Bonds, warm and views for miles. Only patches of ice left in small sections of the trail, especially from Zeacliff to Zealand. There are a few sections of monorails from Zealand to Guyot, not very stable. I barebooted all day. Everything else is basically cleared up. Ran into lots of people leaving from the night before, Guyot was filled Saturday night and I was told tons of people camped in overflow spots as well.
